SUCCESS STORIES

Through the cooperation between everyone directly and indirectly involved with this organization, these wonderful animals have been saved from a life about to be cut short and went on to homes where they are much loved and cared for.

Duke 2
From Ginger and her new home!: Ginger ll says that her new daddy has given her a wonderful life in her new home. She is Alpha in a household of 3 canine cousins, all bigger than her. She has the place of honor at home, and goes everywhere with daddy (except into the food market and restaurants--oh yes, was once barred from entry to Sam's club).
"Daddy cannot understand why anyone would throw away a girl as wonderful as me. He has had multiples for more than a quarter century, all rescues/adoptions. He can remember only one other orphan who bonded so quickly and so completely! It happened on the automobile ride home to Delta, and friends began to refer to me as a "growth" on daddy--I didn't wanna be anywhere else. I have coats and sweaters, and if I must stay in the car, daddy returns to find me watching out the window where I last saw him walk away.
"Daddy had to learn to watch my weight very carefully, being unaccustomed to such a small baby. Aunt Linda said I could have all the green beans I could eat. I hardly ever meet anyone that I don't like, but if daddy takes a step or two away, separation anxiety happens RIGHT NOW!
Days I am always close, sometimes a "desk dog" or paper weight; evenings I spend in the recliner with daddy.
"I know that I am beautiful, tough, smart, and loved, 'cuz daddy provides constant reinforcement. I am petted and stroked and groomed (tho' I don't care much for the tooth brushing), fondled and carried. Life is good".
From Tinkerbell's new parents: I have a new home with brothers and a sister. One of my brothers keeps my face and eyes clean. I am a real daddy's girl. I like my mommy but I 'loooooooooove' my daddy! He takes me for rides and sometimes he even gets all of us a chicken tender to share. Mommy thinks I'm funny.
From Buster's new parents:
Buster is doing great! He sure is a good little dog....He plays great with the boys and is good with the kids that come over.
Now that he's more at home, he warms up quicker to adult visitors than he did when he first came. So all is well...Thanks!
